"The Non-Immigrants"

In this series: "So Far and Near" I created 152 repeated patterns archive found in old photographs of different tribes and indigenous peoples of America and I arranged them manually.Each photograph was altered with hand painting using acrylic, ink and pencil.
The biggest challenge was collecting all the images: I relied on local antiques stores, books and google search. I am from the Shara'eb "Hemyariah Qahtaniah Tribe" in the southern Arabian peninsula. The images remind me of my tribe and that are a reminder of the only true non-immigrants of America.
